2nd Annual Bankers Hill Fall Festival
The historic community of Bankers Hill celebrates the season with the second annual Bankers Hill Fall Festival on Saturday, Oct. 21 from 1 to 5 p.m. Designed to showcase Bankers Hill as a destination neighborhood, the walk-around Bankers Hill Fall Festival will showcase ten exciting blocks of Fifth and Fourth Avenue. Tickets are $15 pre-sale and $20 the week of the event.
Beginning at 1 p.m., attendees can visit St. Paul’s Episcopal Cathedral at Fifth and Nutmeg to pick up maps displaying a trail of more than 30 businesses offering local tastes, wellness demos, one-day shopping specials and other surprises. Neighborhood hotspots including restaurants, fitness studios, boutiques, spas and art galleries will showcase their fare and wares inside their doors and upon sidewalks; streets will remain open to traffic and offer plentiful parking. Shuttle service along Fifth Avenue will be provided at no cost.
Attendees will taste the flavors of eateries including Cucina Urbana, Barrio Star, Corner Drafthouse, Wetstone Wine Bar, Parc Bistro, Pizzicato, Juice Alchemy, James Coffee and The WestBean Coffee Roasters, while Wellness centers such as Orangetheory Fitness, Club Pilates, Sojourn Healing Collective and Reiki Room SD will offer health-minded demos. Thread + Seed, Sew Loka, V Collective, Plush Salon, Broadstone Balboa Park, Denise Barrow Salon and Spa, St. Paul’s Senior Services, North Island Credit Union, Edward Jones Investments and Inscriptu will also open their doors to introduce San Diegans to exciting features of the neighborhood, while galleries including Danielle Zhang Art and Pilar Paintings invite guests to peruse their works.
