Tropical Paradise Chocolate Making Class at Sweet Petite Confections
San Diego’s colorful chocolate shop Sweet Petite Confections is celebrating summer with a tropical paradise themed chocolate making class on Saturday, August 12. Secure your spot at this reservations-only class to learn the art of making fantastically flavored chocolates and bark over the course of two hours while creating nearly 1.5 pounds of confections.
During August’s class, students will play with guest-favorite flavors like salted caramel and locally sourced honeys alongside house-made passion fruit caramel and toasted coconut ganache made by chocolatier Michelle Lomelin. Students will also select from more than a dozen ingredients as they personalize a chocolate bark – with options including sweetened toasted coconut, coconut cookies and dried pineapples and mangos alongside savory pretzels, potato chips, nuts and more.
Adult individuals and parent-child teams are welcome to attend! This class will take place at 12:30 p.m. (suggested arrival 12:15 p.m.) and is $40 per adult or parent-child team (5 and 12 years old with one adult). Additional classes will be added as the 12:30 p.m. slot fills up. Previous experience not necessary. To learn more and to reserve a spot, visit www.sweetpetiteconfections.com or call (858) 688-0210.
