Bastyr University Clinic in San Diego provides affordable naturopathic medical care for the community. The clinic offers patients a full range of the best natural remedies and therapies including naturopathic primary care, physical medicine, herbal medicine, homeopathy, hydrotherapy, integrative oncology care, integrative urgent care, acupuncture and therapeutic massage.


The clinic also hosts a monthly whole-foods cooking class, Cooking for Healthy Living, which offers a delicious hands-on opportunity to learn how to prepare nourishing dishes with proper cooking techniques. Each class has a unique theme and menu and gives participants nutrition and wellness information to help them lead healthier lives.

For those wanting a more immersive cooking experience, Bastyr also offers the Whole Food Nutrition & Culinary Certificate Program, held Saturday mornings for six consecutive weeks in the spring and fall.

Bastyr University California, the state’s first and only accredited school of naturopathic medicine, opened in San Diego’s Sorrento Valley in fall 2012. The University offers a Doctor of Naturopathic Medicine and a Master of Science in Nutrition for Wellness degree.

In fall of 2018, the campus will offer four new degree programs including the Bachelor of Science in Nutrition & Culinary Arts, the Bachelor of Science in Integrated Human Biology, the Master of Arts in Counseling Psychology and a Post-Baccalaureate in Naturopathic Medicine program.

The campus is a second location for Bastyr University, which was founded in 1978 in Seattle, Washington. Bastyr University is internationally recognized as a pioneer in natural medicine, offering science-based natural health education, research and clinical training.
